About Bertslide Media

Bertslide Media produces, publishes and markets video podcasts. The company was founded in 2007 by Christian Miessner and has a team of about ten people.

Because only good content allows for good productions, Bertslide Media right now concentrates on the editorial department. Camera, editing and directing round off the successful team work.

The technical team covers web-technology, video formats and video compression. This way we can assure the best possible form of distribution.

Advertising sales activities are handled by Adlateral, a company Bertslide Media is holding shares in.

We mainly work with Macs and mostly film in HD.

About Christian Miessner:

After working as designer and editor as well as in pre press production since 1995 Christian Miessner concentrates his activities on the internet. Initially as editor and web design specialist with Europe Online, the first European internet portal. From 1997 until 1999 he took part in building the Microsoft Portal msn.de as production manager.

In 1999 Christian Miessner co-founded Y2K Media, the internet agency where he also worked until 2003. He was managing co-operations with Volkswagen AG, therefore also taking part in some major projects of the Volkswagen New Media department.

2003 Christian Miessner graduated from Carlson School of Management (University of Minnesota) and Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien with a Master of Business Administration (MBA).

In 2004 he founded miessner.com, a pool of experts developing and implementing strategic website communication projects.

In 2005 Christian Miessner started the video podcast shralp!

In 2006 he took on the challenge of Publisher Online with VNU Business Publications.

After the very successful online project including publications like pcpro.de, gizmodo.de and theinquirer.de was sold to NetmediaEurope GmbH he thought it was time to leave the company again.

Christian Miessner founded Bertslide Media in 2007.
