MP4

Suffix and short for multimedia content stored with MPEG-4 standard. Especially for videos it delivers great quality using a small file size.

DRM - Digital Rights Management

Digital Rights Management restricts the use of multi media files to certain “holders of rights". A process implemented by "the industry" in order to “protect rights“. There is an ongoing and heated debate on DRM.
